Rainy Days
Wind in hushed murmurs
makes my window curtains fly
while grasses tremble
and leaves turn under in fear.
In dark solitude
Birds' silent vigils commence
awaiting the roar
of thunderous clouds screaming
to open rainy day storms.

Nice one Jo1 Aren't you sick of the rain already!! I fear we may have the blight again, the tomatoe plants are looking sorry from the time we planted them. Must hit them with the magic dust to bring them back, or at least save a few. Seems when we have a wet season, the bacteria, or fungus grows rampid!!
