Another Day

A little poem on a topic
fascinating to me...

Another Day

Lumbering giants within view
Thunderous roars smash against sky
Trembling earth in primitive zoo
Dinosaur challenge, live or die
No bars, no locks, animals vie
Instinctually unrestrained
Behemoth falls, demystified
Passionless victory attained.

Very jurassic sounding. :) Seriously, very cool, strong words for strong critters!

I'm reading Dean Koontz' "Husband" in which the main character's father collects petrified dinosaur poop. Since I read this last night at two in the morning, odd that I should log on today and find this poem! LOL Synchronicity?

  2. Fascinating in subject and form. You need to see the "Walking with Dinosaurs" show if it comes to your area. My daughter saw it and thought it was awesome... life-sized dinosaurs walking around the room! I wish I had gone with her now. We also saw the same type of show at Universal Studios in Fl. It is a fascinating subject isn't it?
