Six Unremarkable Things About Moi! I've been tagged!

1. I don't drive. I've tried, but I have an intense fear of physical danger.

2. I haven't listened to popular music hardly at all since the late 60's. I love classical music even though I don't know much about it.

3. I love everything from the 19th Century. I absolutely swoon at antiques of any kind. I'm convinced I lived then and then somehow in a weird cosmic burp I got dumped here.

4. And yet, I embrace modern technology. I love computers. I've used mac, windows, and ubuntu. I have no fear.

5. I love nature like it's religion, but I'm not a tree hugger, but rather an artist of a sort, writing about it and photographing it, never politicizing it.

6. I absolutely hate having company around the house. Please don't visit me. I'd rather meet friends at restaurants.

Many thanks to Jo (the other one) for tagging me. I in turn tag Bob, Harry, Shirley, Scot, and Terry--You guys know who you are!

  1. Oh Jo, we are so similar! I drive but only in my own area. Folks always make fun of me cause I have a bad sense of direction. I should've put that one in. I make my husband drive long distance!

I do like some of the music today, always loved music, except for rap! Yup I'm not into much company either! and absolutely love nature. Loved your responses, especiallly weird cosmic burp. Too funny!

  2. Anonymous9:23 PM

One alarming moment, some two months ago I discovered I had been driving without having my driver's license renewed since the previous Dec. 27th. That very afternoon, with an eye test safely behind me, I walked out of the license renewal office on air. I am a licensed "hazard on the road" until the year 2012! Not bad for an 88 year old, no?

  3. Anonymous9:33 PM

Jo, I, Mary A. Kaufman from Meander With Me is the "Anonymous" who had her license renewed. I'm doing something wrong and I don't know what when it comes to getting my comments posted when it becomes necessary to use google. I use the same name and the same password, but . . . ? I've tried commenting here on several occasions, but finally I give up. Clue me in, will you? I enjoy your site.
