Foreboding

The Crystal Ball by John William Waterhouse

Foreboding

Swirling
vapors whisper
of white roses' sweet souls
while discontent murmurs gather
to scream.

Wow... you evoke several emotions with one short piece. It makes me wonder whether the woman in the picture is pregnant... and it jolted me. I like the title, too... nice.

Jo, I am hoping that blogs such as your's, paisley, and others will help this mind of mine that, over the years, was forced to deal with cold hard facts, open up to a much more "poetic" way of loooking at life than it now does. I think I rather "envy", for a better word, people like you who can so beautifully express yourselves. Mary from Meander With Me.
