Ants by M.C. Escher

The Rush

Rushing.
Expectations.
New places, new faces.
Yet they all look oddly the same.
Stop me.

  1. It happens, doesn't it? No matter what we do (or don't do, for that matter). It seems to be part and parcel to the aging process, complete with it's non-Einsteinian time progression. The only commiseration I can give you is to tell you that you're not alone...

  2. So, um, are you telling me I'm old then?

  3. Well, you're merely leading up to the years that will (at some point far in the future) foretell the aging process, whereas I'm firmly established and entrenched in the process. I was merely warning you of what may, thirty or forty years from now, become a reality.

  4. Bubba,
We're the same age. lol. However, I admire your ability to field the question. Marriage has taught you much. Kudo's to Mrs. Bubba.
