I talk a lot about Bob Church. Recently, Nan Jacobs, a fellow staff member at Word Catalyst Magazine comprised a book of Bob's Work to present to him. Well, here is the whole story:
Bob's story is so wonderful. How nice of you guys to think of putting all his work into a book. A dream most poets have to share with the world.! I remember the comments between you two, one as orinery as the other! :)
Well... I'm overwhelmed. It is absolutely beyond my abilities to express the feelings engendered when I conceive the efforts and expenses you've all incurred on my behalf. Please, please, please know that you've all touched me beyond belief and that I truly consider myself blessed for receiving the gift of such wonderful friends. You are all in my prayers and shall remain there forever.
God bless you, Jo... and everyone else who has given me so much.
JO JANOSKI resides in Pittsburgh, PA, USA with her husband, Ron, and their Beagle mix, Rosie, and Shih Tzu, Hobo. She and her husband are photographers who specialize in Pittsburgh cityscapes. She has also exhibited her line of nature photos along with Pittsburgh photos for over 20 years at the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh, PA in both the Juried Exhibition and Artists Market.
Jo has recently developed an interest in the written word, after having been a secretary and later a photographer. She has won several online contests and has been published on various sites. Jo has three books published, all of them stories with a Pittsburgh theme.
Jo is a member of The Poet Band Company (THE PEN), a Poetry Newsletter.
...but I do know this, poetry is a magical addition to life. It lifts the soul with words better than a song lyric. It activates the imagination with colors and sounds. It stimulates the intellect with astounding turns of phrase. Poetry is a quiet giver, deserving of love and respect ... JO Janoski

Thanks for the info om Bob. You asked about a snippet. It is a group I found on Gather.com. It is where you write a statment in 30 words or less.
A snippet can be whatever you want it to be as long as it is 30 words or less.
Thanks, Terry!
