Dispelling Rumors

Can you tell what I'm thinking about? A Jozzonet:

Dispelling Rumors

Orange rays peek from a hesitant sun

as cooler breezes resist
while a robin sings its heart out
dispelling wintry rumors
with warm succulent promises
dispelling wintry rumors
while a robin sings its heart out
as cooler breezes resist
orange rays peek from a hesitant sun

  4. I do not envy those of you living in such cold places and hope spring comes early.

And I thought Ozy was in Chicago but apparently I'm wrong.

  6. Jo, very well done. Quite poetic. When I was a member of Keysner Poets, Harrisburg, Pa., such a poem was called a tuanortsa, astronaut spelled backwards. From where did the word Jazzonet originate?

  7. Hi Mary,
The Jozzonet was invented in 1990 by Joz Knoop, a Dutch poet. That's about all I know...
